It's been some time since my last post. I've made a few changes to the folder, mostly in the interest of ergonomics and comfort. I also managed to pilot the little thing from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Thailand, over a distance of 700 km. Diminutive it may be, but the size didn't detract from its being a very capable tourer.

Front-wheel drive, folding, recumbent bicycle
I started with a Speedone FS Mini Velo Suspension Folding Frame, shipped to Kuala Lumpur from Taiwan. I then added a Cruzbike Conversion Kit, yielding a front-wheel drive recumbent bicycle. Subsequent modifications include the FSA Patterson-Metropolis CVT transmission (no more front derailleur). I also had a local machine shop modify the folding steering stem so that it would fit my smaller diameter head tube.Next up? A Nuvinci N360 continuously variable planetary (CVP) hub, doing away with the rear derailleur as well.
